“ このときも見積りに「編集者人件費」というのを入れたら、「意味が分からない」ということで、散々やられたことがありました。こちらとしては、コンテンツを作るわけですから編集に人が働くというのは当たり前の感覚だったのですが、先方からは、「この編集というのはいったい何をやるのか？　写真はカメラマンがとるんだろ、イラストはイラストレーターが描くんだろ、文章はライターが書くんだろ、じゃ編集者って何やるんだ？　たいした仕事なんかないじゃないか」という論理で、ガンガン責められたのでした。要するに、一般社会の人には「編集」と言う概念は、ほとんど理解不能な世界らしいのですね。
